Kristin Reed
My graduate work was done in mid twentieth-century poetry, focusing on Russian and Irish literature. My biggest interest is in counterculture arts communities and alternative publishing. Today I work a lot in judicial reform, incarceration and reentry advocacy, and decarceration in university settings. I'm in love with interdisciplinary work, and community-led change.
These days I'm a devout midwesterner who is becoming a reasonably acclimated southerner. Because the best part of living in the south is the growing season I do what I can to spend time with a few community and school garden initiatives on Richmond's east end.
