Born and raised in central North Carolina, I'm a first-year graduate student in American Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. I work critically and creatively at the intersection of documentary, curatorial, and performance studies, with a particular focus on exploring the contemporary Southern legacies of Black Mountain College in terms of arts education, access, and civic life in the American South. I'm also a freelance writer and editor covering dance and performance in North Carolina.
